Shawn's '95 Integra...

Finally got some photos taken last night, so here they are! :)
Obviously, it needs quite a bit of work. I'll probably be mostly keeping it stock for awhile, as I just don't have a lot of extra money to invest in it (and need it to look GOOD more so than modded.)
Hey, not bad at all for $500! Yeah, that's right - I paid $500 for it, and all I've done so far is change the oil and replace both CV joints.

Haha...yeah, just wanted to show all the damage and what needs to be done.
Nah, I can probably get it fixed for fairly cheap (I hope!) - I can do all the bodywork - just gotta buy a door and maybe a new quarter-panel.
Unfortunately, I'm STILL waiting on the title - I trust the girl enough that I know she'll get it to me ASAP (I still have her sub-woofer & amp and a few other things in the car as collateral), but for some reason, they have to prove it was paid for (it was) and it seems to be taking forever. Hope to have it soon though, so I can rest easy. Just almost got outbid on the car and I NEEDED one (I had an '03 Cavalier about 8 months or so ago, but it was repo'd and I just now got another car - been sharing my girlfriend POS Miata for awhile, so I'm glad to just have my own car again!)

Never pay for a car without getting the title. Welcome to the site and I hope you don't get screwed.

I know, I know...I shouldn't have, but I didn't have an option. I needed a car and this was my only chance to get one at a price I could currently afford. The girl I bought it from needed to have her Mom send it to her, as it was lost or something. She had another guy offering her $600 without the title (she offered it to me for $500, but I was waiting for the title), so I had to suck it up and do the deal. I'm not worried about it at all - I know she'll get it to me ASAP, I just want it done with so I don't have to worry anymore.

Well at least get a bill of sale signed. Looks like all you need is a door shell and the lower quarter panel area. I wouldn't try to pull that out and bondo it, best thing would be to see if you can cut a piece like that off another integra and weld it up.

Yeah, did do the bill-of-sale.
True - don't really want any Bondo on there (it's been a LONG time since I've done any body work with Bondo...heh.)

Nah, I can't buff it out - the paint's pretty much gone from the roof and the hatch.
I'll just get the door fixed up, along with the small rust spots by the back wheels, etc., and repaint it.
Needs a LOT of small touches and fixes, though.

Is there somewhere I can maybe score a new right hand horn button? It just randomly broke and fell off the other day (the plastic inside broke somehow.)

lol...yeah, I always make people look at the driver side first!
Then it's like..."ohhhhh..." when they get to the passenger side.
I can't wait to get that fixed - such an eyesore!

Ahaha...indeed. At least it didn't damage TOO much - mostly just the door. The door panel is slightly messed up, but barely - mostly you just can't open it (my Dad and I couldn't get it to close again once he opened it and we had to screw it shut...lol. Temporary, of course.)

Well, I've returned, after a long hiatus, to try and get more pointers on fixing this thing up a little bit so I can get it ready to sell. It needs far too much work to sink a bunch of money into, so I'm gonna fix a few things and get a new car (most likely, a Mini Cooper.)

I didn't have much extra money for awhile to work on anything, but I recently replaced all of the brake pads.
I'm currently putting a new brake master cylinder in (AutoZone ordered the wrong damn part, so I had to take it back and find one online, after wasting my entire Saturday afternoon.)
I received the new driver side front turn signal I ordered today and slapped it in at lunch.

I wish I could afford to keep it and totally fix it up, 'cause it's a good car, it just needs far too much work.
I'm not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on fixing the A/C system, for one...
Anyone need a parts car!? haha ;)
