It makes a big difference. You definitely notice it. Like Omi said, SO MUCH CLEANER.

I just wouldnt because I love having it. I think its convenient.

i took the one out by the battery and used a hot glue gun to seal it. It looks good.

IMO, do it. Buy the $9 plug from DC4KiD on Honda-Tech.

I didn't use any silcone and no problems yet. Been about a year or so and I live in FL, which in the summer rains everyday.

i pluged mine up with some random ass rubber thing....fits nice n tight. looks good
