shaving side moldings

is there another way, rather than welding up the holes, when shaving these off?

you wouldn't want to do it any other way.

you can buy jdm itr doors or usdm doors and just shave the quarter panel.

but if you don't weld it, fiberglass can crack over time.

Bondo or any filler besides metal will sink and crack over time

yea, with any holes in metal def. weld them. you'll have nothing but trouble with it later down the road if you dont.

just paint them the same color as your car if not already. looks good that way IMHO

because my car is so low, all the dings i got is on the body line of the car that runs from the fender all the way to the tail light..

it's kind of useless for me.. I took 'em off.. if you park and get a ding it's gonna be higher than the molding.
