Seatbelt suggestions?

The stock seat belts annoy me. I don't like the automatic sliding and especially the big ball housing where it sits on the right side of the seat. Has anyone done a seat belt swap to a normal "buckle it yourself" . possibly out of a honda or newer teg?

how would i go about removing the stock ones and making it not beep at me when its unhooked?

Cut the strap and leave the top end or find the fuse or wiring that controls the seat belts to get rid of the beep. I haven't tried a seatbelt swap myself but I'm sure it can be done. Good luck with this and keep us posted. Hated the seatbelts in DA's too!

I believe there are fuses under the hood, with the fuses out I don't think it beeps. (Passive Motor R and L)

As for mounting new belts, I can't help you.

You'll need to get a Canadian or Japanese market seatbelt set up and you'll need the A/B pillar covers as well.
I don't recommend driving without seat belts buckled. If you still feel the need to ride without seat belts, you can cut the 2 wires that run to the seat belt buckle and connect them.
