has anyone installed seat heaters? id love to have them since winter here is a bitch and the heaters heat up faster then the car and its always a nice added bonus. if you have let me know how it worked out for ya or if anyone has found a write up on it that would be great thanks yallll

It requires taking the back and base of the seat apart- along with running some wires/switch. There's tons of writeups online, I'd suggest google. Not exactly sure which heaters you plan to use, but I'm sure there's specs on them all floating around the net.

sweet thanks dude. how is it a waste of time? winter here gets to -20 some times colder and i really hate cold weather

Be careful. I know VW heated seats does not automatic shut off and people get burn from them. There are recalls on them. I can't see them on cloth seats but on leather seats, yes. I think it's not worth trying to upgrade to heated seats.

Makes perfect sense to me, I've been thinking about heated seats as well, and don't let anyone tell you doing anything to your car is a waste of time, what was a waste of time was the post's they did.
