'Seat Belt Stuck Forward

Hello,

I recently bought my first Integra: A Red 5spd manual 1993 LS.

There are a couple of things I need to address: The drivers side Auto seat belt is stuck all the way forward, and when I pull it back, it just moves forward once again as soon as the door is opened, but does not slide back when the door is closed.

One other thing, it isn't really a problem, it just has me wondering: When I am stopped at a light, the car will idle a little rough and low (around 600 RPM I would say) but if I pump the brake pedal it will bring the idle up to about 1000. And no, I am not hitting the gas pedal while pumping the brake

Thanks, any answers are appreciated

For the seatbelts, take it to the dealer. They have lifetime warranty. As for the udle, someone here said pumping the brakes will make the idle rise.

I'm just putting this out there, but acura won't cover a car that's been considered a total loss. I'm pretty sure that doesn't apply to most but it happens.

Similar question just got asked the other day, we have a great search function here, just so you know..
Make sure all the connections are being made. 2 plugs for the seat belt control module (PS kick panel), under the seats, those are the usual culprits...
Oh btw, I have a fully operational set of auto belts since I switched to Canadian spec... So if you end up needing parts, hit me up.

normally when they are stuck in the forward position its the switch in the door latch assembly that is not covered by the lifetime warranty....

also can be caused by the module plug and plug under the seat...but yeah, they always try to make an excuse.
Just for future reference, I have every usdm auto belt component in working condition, so hit me up if in need. I'm sure I will be sitting on them for a while.

Looking for my next Teg..
the rise in idle as others have said is completely normal... the alternators on these cars only run at like 65a so anytime some part of the electrical system is triggered the idle dips a little then jumps up to try and keep a balanced charge running on the system. try installing a sub & amp and that shit happens non stop when you get a bass drop LOL.

As others have mentioned the Seatbelts are a Lifetime warranty part. You issue could be a faulty regulator ( which they will replace along with the rubber seals) or it could be what DLO mentioned, OR... there is a switch in the door latch that can crap out. it is not covered by the warranty & pretty much requires pulling the entire dorr and window assembly apart to change it out.

as a temporary fix... close your driver side door. get the seat belt into the back position. Go to the location under the passenger side kick panel; on the side in front of the passenger door ( plastic panel wit a hump) pop it out and there is a controller there with a brown and a green plug. disconnect te grenn plug and that disables the automatic seatbelt system.
