what year is your teg?
when i bought my 93 it wouldnt stop. it was because the retracting belt was stuck. so i just kinda muscled it back into place and it stopped. i havent found the fuse or sensor yet to unplug it...unfortunately

the box for the seatbelts is passenger side. right side on the floor, first plasitc piece u take off , its like a kick panel and there is a silver box with two connectors...unplug one of them...i forget which one but that stops the belts from dinging and working. i got my belts to stay in the back position and then unpluged that thing. no more annoying dinging when the belts dont work right.

I just bought a 90 teg and the drivers side wont go back automatically, i took the fuse out for the passive restraint system under the hood and muscled the latch back where it is supposed to be and it has yet to go forward since. I just unbuckle it like a reg seatbelt except i always end up feeling stupid when i reach high instead of low when putting it on... I know when i had my supercharged thunderbird it would sometimes stay forward on the drivers side, on the latch inside the door there was a small sensor switch thing that when the latch would close it would trip it to send the seatbelt back, i took it off and cleaned it and greased it and they worked fine for a good while on the bird after that until it started again and i unplugged the sensor and it stayed back all the time, i dont know if the teg would be a similar setup but its worth a look

Just and FYI.... Acura and Honda have lifetime warranties on seatbelts... So if they aren't operating properly just call your nearest Acura dealer and set up an appointment and they will replace the entire thing free of charge do to it being a safety hazard for them to not operate properly.
Ps this doesn't cover if it's just ripped or something like that ....
But if it gets stuck or doesn't move when u open the door etc just go get a brand new one for FREE!!!!
hope this helps
