Searching for an Integra

I used to have a 2010 VW Jetta which I absolutely loved, had plans to modify it. There were some family issues so now I'm car-less. I've been looking at the Integras, I really like them. I'm looking at maybe a 1997 1998 type R. I want manual. There seems to be a lot of aftermarket so the price is reasonable for me now. Just want to know if anyone has any suggestions or opinions on my choice. Thanks!!

1997 ITR is a very rare car, and if you dont have a garage or you street park at work or somethign i dont suggest it due to the high theft rate

Yep, ITR's are hard to come by and command a pretty penny. Your next best bet is the Integra GSR. It is the only other Integra model with the VTEC engine. There was a body style change from 1997 (94-97) to 1998 (98-01). We can help you further with some more specific questions, fire away!
All GSR's (and Type R's) from any year are manual, btw.

Depends on where you live. I don't have a garage and wouldn't be afraid to own a Type R. I leave my car unlocked all day and night and I'm not in a rich neighborhood. Just in an area where they aparently don't know the value of my teg.

I would look for an un-modified Type R and if you have the pocket for it, get it, you'll be glad you got an R.
