Sad news.

I have sad news. Some one just backed into my teg and the rear is all smashed to hell. He was in a Chevy Tahoe and did a number on my drivers side rear. Well enough talking, here are the pics.

this is the picture of the quater panel buckling under the impact.

He must have hit me pretty hard cause my front bumper was up on the curb and my header scraped the curb also. The bumper support is all pushed in. Im just praying that the will not total my car. Needless to say, we got insurance all squared away and I get it aprased on monday when the body shop opens.

I hope that it is speedy also cause i go to college in 2 weeks and need the car to go up there. The guys insurance company is USAA and guarntees the job for as long as i own the car. So I think that it will be a good job. Actually this comes at kind of a good time cause i was going to get the car painted and dents and stuff like that removed and side moldings shaved. So maybe i can tack some of that on to the cost of the insuracnse or at least get a break in price. :twisted:

Update on the car. Insurance estimate came back as $3135. They were close to totaling the car, or so they told me. Now my car for the next two weeks is an new Grand Am. Man that thing sucks. I cant see shit. Driving that thing makes me want my teggy back more.

that sucks. luckily it wasnt the front. my friend was sitting in his car when a jacked up piece of crap redneck truck (no offense to you rednecks) started to back up. and it kept backing up and got real close so my friend blows his horn and the guy stops for a minute. then continues to back up and crushes the whole front bumper, hood , and radiator luckiily he didnt reach the engine. but i'm glad its only minor damage for you but it still sucks and i'm sorry
