s2k antenna conversion?

how? my antenna sux when it goes up or down it always does some nasty loud clicking thumpy noise

be happy you are t getting the "loud clicking thumpy noise". i bet it does its job fine

pleople with cloth hangers stuck in their shyt dont have any noise but it looks trailer park.

i have an after market antenna i chanced off ebay. fits perfectly and looks just like the stock antenna however you hear the motor runnig for like 5 sec when you turn the car on or off and it doesnt like the winter

www.bseries.net a how to on s2k antenna and much more... i bought an already made kit on ebay for like $33.. check them out i havent recieved it yet.. actually i just bought it 5min ago...i'll let you know how it works when i recieve it!

when i turn off my car as soon as the antenna stops going down it makes this real loud grinding sound as well.Is there anyway to cure this or does the motor needs replaced?Thanks,Jesse.

just get rid of it, lol they are dorky, mine didnt go up or down thats why i got the s2k.. but i was never a fan of power antenna's, usually they are a pain to repair and they never last very long...

if anyone is having this problem then all u have to do is turn the radio on let the antenna go up as far as it can. then go out to the anntenna pull the anntenna all the way up and lube(wd-40 or whatever you weapon of choice is). then turn off the radio and the anntenna will pull itself all the way down. now it should work smoothly! this was how i fixed mine

the s2k intenna is hott! my intenna never worked. i bought it stuck up and then someone broke it off when they thru a bag at my car... it sucked.
