Its been done numerous ways, MR, FR, and AWD tegs and civics. But they never handle as well as the cars developed to be that given platform. Its hard to convert a well designed FF platform to a FR, MR, AWD. At least in terms of suspension geometry. It takes more work than its worth. But in a straight line, yea they are quick. Ive seen 4G63 AWD Civics before, and I can only imagine the feeling of those suckers.

Dude pick up the last 5 issues of Honda tunning and you will see several swaps like that. I want to know how the blue civic with the s2000 rwd conversion feels in turns I have thought about doing this my self but like he said I want to make damn sure that it goes as fast if not faster in the turns as it does now.

They wont handle as well as you think. If you want a RWD teg with a S2000 engine buy a S2000 and run circles around the swapped car for less $. I know people have swapped all sorts of things in and altered to all sorts of layouts. But to keep proper suspension geometry you need to maintain the specific points the car was designed for, and that means swapping every last bit to the new car and mounting in in the same position (most of the times near impossible or flat out unfeasible). Second problem is the chassis strength and with the change in layout and suspension your going to get alot of quirky issues.

Ive seen AWD, RWD swapped tegs get lapped by bolt-on Type-R's. Why? ^ thats why, it was WELL designed to be that way.

That's what I'm saying. I would do it only if I was going to get better than what I got. Only then

Yea, I can tell you it will actually get worse then a proper FF teg. S2k's are in the low teens as far as price goes now. I bet a converted teg will cost alot more than that.
