Running a subwoofer with stock cd player

Hi everyone, I have a 91 integra GS with a 97 integra CD player in it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to run RCA outputs to an amp. I have a 10" Jensen subwoofer, and a guy told me I could still use it with a stock cd player. I'm not sure if this is true or not, because i dont see how you will get the aux outputs ran to the amp but i figured you guys would know.

also, i dont need to know how to run the actual wiring or anything.. i just need to know if its possible, and if there is a kit or something that will either

A> plug into my stereo harness
B> hardwire to my stereo harness

thanks in advance.8)

You don't need to buy that converter if your amp already has high level inputs.

you need a high-pass-low-pass filter.

and you can only use this setup for so long as it'll sound like shit compared to an aftermarket deck.
you don't have any control over the subs.

you can get a separate bass controller for the amps to control them and i got one for sale!!!

Yep, you need an amp with a built in crossover or they'll sound like crap and will eventually blow.

He can use that converter as long as he wants, it's true the bass won't sound as good as it would coming from an aftermarket deck with an RCA signal. Using a converter for highs is a worse idea than using one for subs though, you wont hear as much distortion/static/engine noise from a sub as you will from the interior speakers. But to keep an OEM deck and have bass, you gotta do what you gotta do.
You can control the bass a bit with the gain.

the amp i bought has a built in cross over and remote bass boost.
