my rpms are going out of control....ill be driving and if im running her hard the rpm needle will go from 1,2,3,4,5 and jump past 8 and then cuts off at the bottom half (like when the little hand on a clock is at the number 6) i have headers, intake, exhuast, str8 pipe, and my exhuast O2 sensor is busted so im throwing check engine light. but the O2 sensor has nothing to do with my rpm'ing or does it please help me.

you may just have a bad ground, but that could take a while to replace...my friends civic did this until he got a new ground wire that goes from the vc to core support

Check your idle air control valve, it is l;ocated on your throttle body. Make sure all your vacuum line are connected, and not kinked as well as your wires. I had a similar problem...the wire on my IACV were kinked. My rpms would rise up similar to yours. Check that
