any one ever use it? just built and boosted my teg and on the way home from tuning it started to over heat, bought a cheaper ebay half size double row radiator and the cap ended up being the cause of it leaking and not sealing causing the over flow to flow out there. fixed the problem and seems to be good since it hasn't over heated since but since its still cooler out here in michigan im afraid this summer i might have over heating issues if im stopped alot. does any one know if purple ice works and if its any good to put in?? it claims to keep ur coolant up to 50 degrees coolor .

I've never heard of that before. But you should try upgrading to a mishimoto x-line or KOYO radiator it will definitely help. I'm guessing the purple ice from royal purple is a coolant additive or actual coolant?

I believe it's an additive. I have heard of guys running purple ice in big race trucks to help keep it cooler, but most of the time I've seen that, they're already running dual radiators with upgraded fans.

So I suggest upgrading your radiator if you think you need it.

You should be alright... Might need to wrap the DP if its close to the rad.... I have seen the cheap ebay rads hold up in 500 whp cars all day durring the summer
