Rev Limiter 7k.. I think I'm stuck in "limp mode"

i have a 2000 integra gsr, issue won't let me rev pass 7k rpm..
vtec doesn't work.. threw cel 22 and 23..
fixed both codes.. cause for the codes was no continuity to the vtec pressure swtich and knock sensor..
after i reset the ecu, i drove normal til operating temperature then acceleration still hit rev 7k.. no cel..
next step i'll try will be my dizzy..
tested:
ecu on buddy car work great
timing in spec
oil pressure and level in spec
anybody have any suggestion please help me out..

Man, just try the dizzy cap and rotor.... the have been known to cause RPM issues!
