I would recommend the NGK iridium spark plugs and its a socket i dont remember what size but you'll need a decent extension to reach in the hole its pretty easy!

oh and you need a deep socket not a regular one! :)

I use the spark plug socket. Has a rubber piece that prevents them from just dropping in, which will ruin your gap. Make sure you have a gap tool also. Be careful threading the new ones in also, the head is aluminum so the threads can get messed up easy. I put the plug in the socket with a long extension and thread them in by hand first. Easier to tell if they are threading properly

These are sold at most part stores.

EDIT: a pic of the plug socket

like stated 5/8in deepwell, preferably one made for plugs with the rubber insert. Also make sure you torque them when you put them back in.

He means that if you just let the plug drop into it's hole, the ground electrode may hit the edge of the head and screw up your gapping.

I would use the gap tool to double check the plugs, they are usually off.

alwasy check the gap. dont do it, and have just one thats way off and it will affect performance. doing this is pretty straight forward... once you try it, it will all make sense to you. just but oem replacement NGK plugs. anything else is a waste unless you have a high hp output. and from the way you talk i doubt you do...

if you dont know how to change your own sparkplugs I would have a friend that knows how to do it show you. I always learn best from watching others/hands on. like above you need a spark plug socket an extension and a ratchet. When putting in the new plugs I always go hand tight and then put the ratchet on and do 1/4 turn. and yes, some plugs come pre gapped but you should always check the gap. the tool is only $1

My dad has a metric adjustable wrench... that's actually not a joke either. He won some bets with it.
