Replacing AC compressor?

My compressor is seized, i searched everywhere, can't find a guide to remove / replace just the compressor.

Two bolts and its off, right? and those hoses, of course. or are there four?

I can just remove that radiator fan and slip it through there right? Or drop it from the bottom.?

What else should I do to get my AC back to brand new, when I get my new compressor, so its ice cold?

Take it to a shop

Here is a list of A/C parts
1. A/C compressor
2. A/C Clutch
3. Receiver Drier
4. Blower
5. Evaporator
6. A/C Pressure Switch
7. Relay


If you replace the A/C Compressor make sure the A/C clutch is reman or new also you have to replace the receiver drier as well. Then a dye test to make sure it does not leak then if all good freon. I'm going to do it on my wife Civic in the next few weeks.

There are 4 bolts IIRC holding the compressor to the bracket.

You should really have a shop reclaim the freon out of the system before you remove anything...
