Removing ....?

Does anyone Know if i can Remove anything From A stock b18a1 ?
Like something i dnt really need in the engine?
cause looking under the intake manifold looks like a cable missing or something, but the car runs without it .......has anybody removed anything just for less things in the engine ?
My main question Is, is There Any UNECCASSARY Things Under the hood ? Thannks !

They have their pros and cons but ppl who are lookin to upgrade their engines lean more toward stick but its all about what u prefer. Ive seen beast rides on either side.
