Removing Window Tint.

Hey I was wondering how to go about removing my window tint, the previous owner had bought some wall mart tint for it and it is starting to peel, is it a difficult process, I heard it is something that takes some sun to do and I live in Washington where it is rarely sunny. How much would it cost to get it removed and where would I take it to get it removed?

Any help would be appreciated

Some window tinting places will remove it but will charge a lot. Mix up some soap and water in a sprayer, Dish soap works the best, and a razor blade. It will work but will be time consuming. The soap will remove all the glue left behind.

Window Tint

Hi, you should have the professional do that job since it's really difficult to take-off and put-on window tints. You may consult with www.TintBuyer.com for your tinting needs. They provide relevant information about window tints such as its types, quotations, laws involve in every state, as well as help you find the best professional tinter near your area. 8)

it's really easy, it just takes a long time

doing it on a warm day helps a lot

might need goo-gone as well

don't waste your money by going to a shop to do it.

Anything that someone can do, you can do. That's my motto

What about for the back window, I heard it is pretty easy to mess up your rear defrost if your not careful, but then again like i said it seems like a really cheap tint job that was done at home, sometimes when I roll my windows up I have to pull them to towards the door just to there isnt any fat air cracks, thats how I know whoever did it really didnt know what they were doing when taking it all apart.
