Removing shift linkage

Well I Couldnt Get My Shift Linkage Loose Off Of The Tranny. That Spring Loaded Pin Is A Pain In The Ass. I Have A Center Punch And A Hammer, But Its A No Go With That Stupid Pin, any idea what to do?

... i used one of those impact sockets and smashed the bitch out. try lubing it a little?

i did, and i thought it was wierd that it didnt want to come out

never mind i got it out after i remvoed the engine and everything else, i just needd more leverage.
