Removing Core Support

Bring DA Ruckus!!!!!!!
I just bought a 92 teggy it needs a ton of work but the first major thing is that the car was in a wreck and the front core support is bent real bad on the passanger side. im doing a motor swap in december so removing the core support then to replace it would make most sence. Ive never removed one before so any input would be great it appears that it needs to be welded on and cut off but again i have no idea thanks for all the help.

There are some spot welds that you need to drill out in order to remove it. Reinstalling it is a matter of lining it up and spot welding it back on. Some people might tell you that you need to take it to a body shop and have it put on a rack to make sure its straight, but a simple level does the trick
