removed AC now heat wont work???

I removed the ac and all lines all the way to the firewall. I also put a faster slim fan and del sol radiator. Now my heat wont work. Somtimes it will take ten to 30 minutes and even then it takes a while to even get warm. Any suggestions???

you're sure you took the ac lines and not the heater lines out... right?

how's your thermostat? has that been replaced recently?

thermo stat hasnt been replaced. If i took the heat lines out tho wouldnt it never come on?? i can get heat usually but it takes FOREVER!!!!!! The weeks before i did this i had heat almost instantly

That's what I mean... It's a long shot, but you might just be getting very faint heat from the engine bay after 30 minutes...

You didn't drain any coolant out of your system when you took the ac out, right? I'm betting you didn't, but I just want to count that out.

is your car warm at all before it starts blowing warm air? like does it take 30 minutes for the car to warm up?

i Put in a del sol radiator to make room for my turbo manifold if thats what you mean by coolant but my car warms up in like 5 min on a really cold morning but heat wont start for like 30 but when it does start to blow heat it is just as hot as it ever was

is the heater valve cable in the engine compartment connected, did it accidently get removed or disconnected?

have someone sit in the car and move the heater knob back and forth between hot and cold.

You go under the hood and look for the lever moving. lol

^this is why on a dd i wouldnt fuck with he eating and air conditioning.... just lose some weight to make up for the hp lost in the air conditioner...
