relocating handbrake?

to the left side of center console
and fiberglass the center console to use that space for something else than a hole for handbrake

lol, sure it's possible but I doubt anyone has done it. All it is down there is a cable, so if you can figure out a way to mount it on the other side it should work.

in my 92 240 it is really hard to drive the car with the handbrake down. it hits your leg no matter what. the car also comes without a cupholder. i made a custom built in cupholder for the console and was going to relocate the handbrake to the opposite side of the cupholder (passenger side)

all you have to do it drill new holes for the ebrake to mount and it should be fine, just dont make the cable any more or less tense.

ye i ve been looking for similar center consoles from some other car but so far havent found any that would be close besides mazda3 and tl or one other acura that has ebrake on the side

I drove a car with an electric ebrake, pretty sure it was a lincoln LS. Id hide that shit in my ashtray.
