Recently acquired! I'm new too...

Hi I just got a 1993 ACURA INTEGRA LS SPECIAL (that's what Carfax says).
I got a lot of trouble to define which model it was because you can say this is my first great car.

It needs a bit of work but I got it so cheap!!

I am a total noob about cars and I'm trying to learn as much as I can and I foresse this as the best chance. My question is about the engine. How can I tell which one I have?

I am from Mexico and it's hard to find useful information here, that's why I joined this community (that and he fact that this is a great place from what I am seeing!).

Here's a picture from last month:




-As you can see there's no bumper, had to remove it to pull it back home. Placed it back on, but I have plans to replace it really soon as it's a bit wrecked downside.

Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated guys!!

Welcome,for the engine check under the hood and see what it says on the block left side of the headers should be something like b18 or b18b

Welcome! Seeing as you have an LS, It will be the b18a1, found in the 90-93s. But check the block stamp to be sure.
You have a bit of a rough building block, but good luck!

the motor should be a B18A1, but somebody could have swapped in another motor, from the condition its in bro, its probaly the stock B18A1. but welcome to the club..... P.S. it is great here!
