Rebuilding turbo

So I just found a turbo not to far away...

Garrett T3 .42/.48 Minimal shaft play. $100 shipped

How much do they usually cost to have rebuilt?
Which places do you guys recommend?

OR

Say fuck it and buy a brand new one?

One I am looking at is a Garrett T3 Super 60

COMPRESSOR SPECS: hi performance 60 trim WHEEL 42 A/R FLOW: 35lbs/min 422cfm
TURBINE SPECS: 4bolt Turbine housing 68 TRIM WHEEL .48 A/R.

All I want is 300whp. As of now I'm leaning towards brand new. Not a huge fan of used parts.

bring it to a machine shop that does it to check it out if its possible. cuz there might be more damage than you would expect from quick inspection.

Yes sir i do! I don't have pics up right now of it but i can get some for you this weekend! It's a .63/.42 a/r You want the bigger one for what your looking for tho.

Yes a larger turbine housing with the super 60 is better for what your looking for. Too small of a turbine housing like the .42 is a lot smaller so you might spool a little faster..but that turbo will run out of steam up top. I'll get some pics up of what i have for you!
