I might just be a dumba$$ but something aint right.

Now before anyone comments i will say that the seat is centered in the car... i dont get it, the tabs are knowhere near close... unless im missing something... the car is a 98 rs 2door and the seats are from a 95 gsr im told. Also as a side note and you can sorta see it in the pic that the side lower plastics have been cut in the front to fit around that black bracing, whats the deal with this? i thought all teggys were the same inside save for fabrics and colors?

the tab on the bottom of a 98-01 rear seat is straight down and goes intoa black piece of extra metal thats bolted in

as for the 94-97, its kinda like a zig zag that goes right into the frame

i cant really see the pic but i think thats where your problem lies from my knowledge.

The tab in the pic looks to me like it has the zig zag. See if you can get your money back from the person you got the seats from. Also I thought all Gs-R's came with leather seats standard.

Thanks for the quick reply, indeed the seats are the zig zag deal... okays guess im lookin for seats again.
But im guessing then that the side plastics for a 94-97 vs 98+ are different?

Same thing happened to me so I just bent the tabs back into the cushion and the seat is just held in by the seat belt buckle.

yup. the 98-01 has a chunk cut out from the 94-97.

ganyon- i guess thats what ill do for now, how well do they stay in place like that? i still need to get thorough md inspection and they are pretty thorough. I dont think a sliding around seat would pass.

ixcocoy- is that pretty much the only difference... im gonna pull the panels and smooth the edges a little better... the previous owner did about a hack job, i figure while they are out if any other mods need done best to do them then.
like you car btw, looks sharp.

It sits well but if you yank on it, it moves. Dude I live in Calvert county and I'm selling grey leathers from my 99. Link is in my sig.
