I'm sure its pretty straightforward. Undo the electrical connections, the struts, then unbolt the hatch.

um the electrical will be hard because you have to feed it through. but basicaly theres 4 bolts under the head liner, so you need to take off the trip and rip the head liner and you will need a socket wrench for it. take off the pannel for the hatch and undo the electrical. and you probably will need 4 people to do it, the hatch is heavy.

Yeah the hatch is definitely heavy as fuckk..and that was without the glass I can't imagine how much heavier it is with that large thick glass..

let me tell you, with the glass i was struggling holding it from the back while my friends were just like holding it on the hinges... that sucked. but the CF one we put on after was like soooo light. But the latches dont line up 100%

I see the 2 bolts on each side, but they look hard to get at,if I undo the 2 lift struts does the hatch go up enough to get at the 4 bolts or do I get at it through the head liner only? Thanks.

you just lift it all the way and then put the ratchet in, you have to pull the headliner a bit. there are two bolts per hinge. its an easy thing to do. just dont baby it too much. good luck

well you are going to have to rip the head liner a little. like pull down so you can get your socket wrench in there, and the hatch is 100+ pounds. and you will need someone to hold it while you unscrew it.

I agree the hardest part is the wires been feed through the body on the right side that was the tricky part the rest is nothing.\
