Rear defroster not working

When I first got my car in april, the rear defroster worked occasionally after the car was warmed up a lil bit. but now it doesnt worked at all. Can anybody tell me what they think could be the problem. Thanks a lot. Oh, I checked all the fuses of course. anything else?

see if there's any voltage across the printed wires. could just be a bad wire that connects to the module

if the connection is fine dont assume its the wires just yet. your ICU could have gone bad. do the wipers work on INT? door chime work when lights left on and car off?

yeah, sorry about that. it made sense tho after you guys told me what the printed wires were. and everything works. my intermediate wipers, my door chime with the lights on. but if it in fact is the ICU, would that be hard to replace myself?

ICU = Integrated control unit. Its behind the fuse box. 2 capasitors inside seem to burn up after so many years. if the board isnt damaged then you can replace the caps. if not get a known working used one or new.
