REAR DEFROST stopped working. ... i really need to fix it

living in portland oregon you need rear defrost in the mornings. i cant see shit by the time i get to work... all i know is it worked. then one day it stopped. the button light doesnt come on or anything... its a 90 da 4 door ls.... if anyone knows why they stop i'd REALLY appreciate the info... or how to fix it. thanks alot

Have you checked the fuse box? Thats the first place I would go if the light isnt coming on.

Yea check the fuse box then if there fine tear the dash a part to see if maybe the harness worked it's way loose.

there is a connector on the rear window from a wire to the window "wires", usually soldered together. sometimes it breaks.

the switch might have gone out if the light on it dose not work that and like everyone else says the fuse might be blown pull it out and wiggle it to make sure that its just unpluged
