rear defrost not working

When I bought my 92 acura integra I noticed when I pushed the defrost switch that it didn't light up or defrost my rear window. So I thought it was the switch, bought new switch and installed it and still nothing. Fuse aren't blown. I need help please.

Does the button even stay in? Does the little LED even illuminate? Check the printed strips in the rear window. There is also the integrated control unit.
