Ok so i've had the car now for about 1 1/2 months...no problems. Its got 61,000 miles on it and i went and got the oil changed a week ago and since then i've noticed some rattling noises coming from the motor, it sounds a little like the exhaust heat sheild but i dont know. My dad also noticed be4 i got the oil change that i was leaking a little of something, so i got it done and its still leaks. The noise comes in around 2,400 rpm untill about 3,200 or so...sometimes it fluctuates. BTW: i first noticed this friday and it only occured right at 3,000 rpms but i'm sure its since gotten a little worse since then! Also i cant tell any difference in performance... What could this be???
THanks,

Probablly either your cat, heat sheild, or something in your exhaust. Check the hangers, it may be rubbing against the underbody of your car, and that particular exhaust tone makes it vibrate, delt with this problem many times before, its not a big deal, easy fix.

Oh yea, the leaking, one might be the cam seals as previously stated, no big deal common honda problem. Two might be the oil pan gasket, but I doubt you would see that on the motor. Maybe a slight head gasket leak. Clean the oil off with some degreaser real good and everytime you drive it check under the hood to see where its coming from and let us know. Be able to help out alot more that way.

Maybe your Integra exhaust rattle finally showed up. Real common problem with Integras. What year is your car?
As far as the little something that's leaking. Where's it leaking from and what's leaking? Coolant, oil, ect, ect...

I guess the logical explanation for the rattling is somewhere in the exhaust.. hopefully.
And its leaking little amounts of oil onto the ground, theres no visible spots on the motor or nothing

Thanks guys!

if its oil...check the oil pan drain plug, as well as the oil filter.
yea just jack the car up and look to see if you can tell where exactly its coming from

Does anyone know the collector size on the stock ls cat? My mechanic told my the noise is coming from the cat, like the shit inside is all loose and old and shit. So i want to replace my complete exhaust anyway but with 2.25" piping, 4-2-1h, 2.25" high flo cat and buddyclub pro spec exahust (either 2.25" or 2.36").

a.k.a. crabs!
when i bought my teg the resonator was rattling. so i bought a new exahaust. but then the heat sheild for the cat started doing it. just stick your fingers all around the heat sheild and cat and check the clearance
