Rapid air loss upon acceleration above 4500 RPM.

My 93 Integra LS is making a rapid intermitant hissing noise when I accelerate the RPM's above 4500. Then while cruising will randomly begin to bog down and drop RPM's for no reason. I have to floor the pedal to get back to normal operation. The hissing noise just began, but has been having the bog down problem for a while. Any ideas or suggestions? All help and ideas greatly appreciated. BTW it is completely stock, and I have just replaced the plugs, and wires.

check your plugs and make sure they are tight. go threw all of your vacuum lines and make sure there still good any that have any sort of crack replace them. that should be your air leak. oh also check you throttle body to make sure the gasket isnt coming off or broken. take off your dizzy and take it to auto zone and have them test the little connector in there sorry forgot what it is called. and see if it is still good also when you pull it off make sure you can move the shaft smoothly and its not real hard to turn. might need to check you fuel pressure at different rpms and see if it is loosing fuel at a certain one it could be your fuel pump going out or sending unit or even fuel pressure regulator. i know this is just shooting towards a whole lot of stuff but with out driving it and knowing exactly how it does things none of us is going to be able to actually pin point what is going on. just go threw everything and hope for the best.
