Randoms from Chicago & Alaska

Starting to get into photography, heres some pics ive taken. First ones are from Chicago and the last four are from a fishing trip in Alaska this past August. Im a complete newb when it comes to this, they look a little grainy but i was just using my dads cannon powershot s500. Just got a Nikon D60 for x-mas, cant wait to start really getting into it. Any tips and suggestions would be awesome and thanks for looking

lol haha, i was there the beginning of August i was only there for a day because we had flight problems going to Alaska so we had to stay a night in Chicago. Lucked out it was a beautiful day, Chicago's a nice place for sure.
