I am new to the integra scene so its all a learning curve for me.
but i bought a 91 integra rs, its needs a new hub bearing, and it ran like crap when i first started driving it. i told him i would take it for $600 so i bought it.
when it ran it was sputtering and jerky.
after replacing the front light and adding a can sea foam with a full take of gas just to be safe. i started driving home and halfway it started acting up so i down shifted and just pushed it, then i shifted to 5th and it seemed to run alot smoother.
when i got home it just would drive anymore and then the engine died and would not start everytime i tried starting it would just backfire alot but never start? so i had to tow it home the rest of the way.
the guy i bought it from said that the mechanic said it was a distributor?
i am going to replace plugs, wires, fuel filter, and test my alternater just to be safe.
also my rpm guage bounces around anywere from 2k-4k just just any in between.
anybody have any ideas what it could be.
