Radio speaker wiring

I bought my 91' LS and the guy explained to me they have put some speakers in, but never finished wiring them. I'm trying to figure it out myself. I was wondering if this white connector needed to be plugged into anything?

yeah its stock, the speakers are aftermarket and they're not even wired up correctly. but I'm just trying to take this one step at a time.

that is a plug coming from the radio or coming from the dash?

it's connected to the wiring that plugs into the back of the radio

and those two orange wires aren't connected to anything either

Looks like it's just an extra connector. Is that a "universal" harness that fits a bunch of makes/models?

yeah big mac your right and the orange ones shouldnt connect to the radio. they could be extra too. is it not working or are you just unsure about that connector and those two wires?

I dont know how the integras stock radio was set up, but the one I had in a previous card had 2 plugs in the back of it.

The plug in your picture actually looks like the wires that are coming from the main plug, (the one furthest from the radio that is connected), are doubled up. If thats the case, the extra plug is unecessary. The orange wire is probably a remote wire for if you were to run an amplifier.

If the deck works with the plug already in it, then you dont need to worry about the other plug.

Haha, no problem. I had an 87 beater crx when I was 16. I WISH it looked as good as that 88+ crx
