radio help!

Hey, i just got my 93 gsr a couple months ago and when i bough tit the guy told me the radio wasnt working just because he had to punch in the code. at the time i didnt mind so later when i went to do it i realized it was more then that. the anti theft just keeps blinking and it doesnt say code on the display it doesnt say anything at all, all of the wires seem fine and i checked the fuse and the backup acc fuse or whatever it is, any ideas? i have the code for the radio it isnt the stock one its an acura cd player, dont know much about it, i can get the model number if it would help. any ideas would really be appreciated! thanks in advance!

Wow, that's a clean DA. Nice catch!
I would just replace the factory radio with an aftermarket one and call it a day.

But that's just me, I'm sure someone with more knowledge and experience will be along shortly.

thankyou! and i probably will just get one, im broke atm though... riding on a donut for a couple days waiting to get a used tire...

If you're intent on keeping the factory radio you can get the serial number off of the deck, call Acura and they can get you the correct code for that radio. If it's not the original deck the code wont match the one for the car.
