Radio Doesn't Work :(

Well i was drivin my car and i turned my deck off..now it wont turn back on.. i took the deck out and rewired it and it still wasnt working.. So i put the stock cd deck back in and that dosnt work either..I have no clue why it dosnt work. i checked the radio fuse and it was fine...i unpllugged teh battery and reconncected it and that didnt work..does anybody have any clue what might be causing this..It sucks..no music

If you have a voltometer (is that how you spell it?) I would check to see if your power cable is carrying any current. That's where I would start, but I'm no electrical expert. Then I guess check your wiring all the way through the firewall.

i have the same problem i hit some train tracks and my clock and radio don't work at all now

check your backup fuse in the engine bay fuse box. its in the top row, 2nd from the left. its a 7.5amp

check all your fuses... sometimes if one stupid one goes out makes other things go out

the backup fuse im talking about is the culprit for stuff like this 90% of the time.

well i have no friggin clue..i checked that fuse in the engine bay fuse box and it was fine..so i took the liberty to check every single fuse in the hole car. and everything was perfect.. soo i have no idea..its weird because the stock radio lights light up when my councle lights are on..but no power to the actual radio itself..im pissed. my deck dont work and my stock one dosnt either..

sounds like your acc turn on may not be functioning properly. take a volt meter and check your harness to see whats up. you may need a new ignition switch harness. they are easily to replace and about 60 bucks
