My radiator has a slow leak and I need to replace it. My question is would the saller radiator from a Civic fit in mmy Teg or a radiator from a 3rd Gen Teg fit my 2nd Gen? My engine is stock but I like the look of a smaller radiator, any help would be awesome

What kind of modifying would be needed for one from a civic to fit?

you need to cut the bottom radiator bracket and move it to where it needs to go for the civic one, then you need to move the top one. bottom one involves cutting and welding top one involves just drilling

When I installed the half radiator in my car I had to notch out the bottom radiator support and make new mounts for it. (They are in the wrong location for a Civic radiator.)

The hold down clamps on top also do not line up anymore. I just made the hold down clamp bolt to the fan spot on the new radiator, and then drilled a hole in the radiator support and welded a nut to the bottom so I could mount it.

Modified OEM clamp:

Fresh!

Slim fan mounted on the opposite side.

The only reason I went half radiator was because of the turbo. I would keep full size if I wasn't running a turbo.

If you're stock there is no reason a new OEM unit or OEM spec unit from another manufacturer wouldn't do the job just fine.

Ah I see. I'm not gonna be running turbo anytime soon I just like the look of the slim rad rather than oem. But I think for now ima just hit up some junkyards for a replacement. Unless anyone knows how to fix radiators? I'm not sure where the leak is coming from but after I've been driving it for awhile I can smell coolant and I can see coolant on the top of the rad.
