radiator hoses prob.

my da had a temp prob solved it by changing my radiator. but ive noticed lately my hoses have been swelling up alot!!! idk what this could be or mean help! it builds up compression in my cooling im guessing...:shock: help me asap thanks

you probably have air, it can be adjusted via adjusting screw, but here's another way I do :

while the motor is cool, run the motor and open the radiator cap.
wait until the motor gets warm.
put the cap back into its place.

kind of...

take the cap off
turn the car on
wait for the fan to kick in
then as the rad fluid starts to bubble, top up coolant
once the bubbles stop, turn car off and put cap back on
then you're good to go

yeah it would be alot easier. just run your car around till you get to running temp and where ever you are just pull over and leave it running and open the screw till no more air comes out and your good to go. if you need to add i would see about just putting it in before but if you need more after that then just put it through the over flow tank it will go in the radiator.

I don't have an overflow tank. When I got the car it was a power steering bottle. :lol:
