Valentine is Big $. And it inst even the best. Get the Escort Passport 8500 X50. Thats what I have, and in all the tests by independent people the Escort wins. Not to mention its $100 cheaper than the Valentine.DailyDrivenDB8 said:get the valentine one, i've heard nothing but good news about it.

what speedin said. I did a bunch of comparison searches, and even when the v1 beats escort, the margin isnt enough for the price difference.

X2 yup this site is great. Did alot of research on that site. BTW, guess what Radar Dectector and Lazer Jammer he rated the best. :roll: Thats right the one I bought. Oh, and Escort just came out with a new radar detector. Its has the same power and stats as the 8500 X50. But it added GPS. So it has a internal memory of known photo lights / photo speed traps. i stole a cobra from walmart LMAO but damn does it sucks ass. it ALWAYS girve false alarms and the only time when it is right, is when there are ambulance passing by with their emergency etc. it sucks at picking up cops and when it picks up a Ka signal, it's either too late, false alarm, or just crap. i don't recommend cobra, i would get the escort.
but in the end, u cant trust the radars too much cuz it only picks up radars stuff, not the actual location of a cop
