Quick Question about wire tucking

I was wanting to know what would be the best wire/gauge to use to tuck my bay.

Isnt 0/1 like, zero or 1 ga? That would be huge and unecessary and rediculously hard to tuck. When tucking you are removing components along with the wires associated with them, or relocating the components and extending the wires that run to them, so using the same size wiring would be the best option. You wont get any advantage by using a thicker wire in the middle of a wire you cut.
