Questions about Pioneer Speakers

Hello all?

I have a question about replacing the stock speakers in my car. I've been looking at these Pioneer speakers and have been thinking about replacing the stock speakers with them.

The first question that I have is, will these speakers fit into my car?

Also, are these good speakers to order for my car? Has anybody heard anything about these or have these speakers?

Answers to these questions are much appreciated

That would require some cutting of the sheet metal and depending on the depth, you may need a spacer so your window doesn't hit. I have long since forgotten the size and depth of the stock speakers but I know that I could pull and measure them in 5 minutes if I was going to replace them. And all new speakers will have the size and depth measurements.

You could look up the size at www.the12volt.com or other sites.

Pioneer speakers aren't very good. I suggest you look at Infinity or Alpine. Infinitys are great especially if you don't have an amplifier.

if you're looking to replace stock speakers, i highly suggest Polk MM6501 for the woofers and tweeters, fairly simple to install, and you can even get rid of the grill covers on the woofers and install them where the factory speakers are with minimal modifying of the factory plastic mounts and it should fit perfectly for a "stealth install", that is what i did with mine... and if you are looking for 6x9's, definitely go with infinity's :thumbs up

You buy that? Do you believe all the marketing hype you read? Have you ever read one that says "our product is pretty good, but not great. It's aimed at people who buy a brand name but don't know a whole lot about this particular product", or "we may cheap products to capture that portion of the market share".

im pretty sure it was just copied and pasted from pioneer's website. I have never liked their speakers. Don't buy the marketing hype bro, or it'll bite you in the @$$ later...

use the internet to your advantage and buy speakers on there, instead of in stores at gouged prices..

for cheap good speakers, try Boston Acoustics. for another 100-200 you can dramatically increase the sound quality of the front stage in your teg by adding a 2 or 4 channel amp

We can't know what size speakers fit in your car if we don't what year and model car you have.

i've never liked pioneer speakers really, however they do make some exceptionaly high quality audio equipment.

alpine has a cool mini power pack that raises your rms to i think 48w, much easier than installing a 4 channel amp which you'll probably want if you want to get the most out of a new set of speakers. link is http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/ktp-445/. i'm thinking about getting one considering my cd player just broke and my brother gave me his new alpine head unit.

buy alpine speakers, or infinity is good too, but if you won't settle for anything but perfection call up bang&olfhousen lol
