Ok so i just swapped a b18b in my 91 teggy i bought the motor from JDM and it has about 40,000 miles. Its completely stock and i want to install nos. Now i dont know much about nos but im leaning more towards a dry 50 shot. I want to do 75 or 100 shot but i do not know what a safe amount is for a stock motor. Once i get it installed i will only be using it at my local track on friday nights usually about 3 passes. Please give me your opinions with a explanation i am pretty much clueless right now.

ok first off stupid fast and furious tainted nitrous oxide it is not called nos it's called nitrous oxide.second nos is a manufacturer of nitrous oxide kits just like zex and nitrous express. now that we have that estalished a 50 shot dry should be fine but don't go any higher without at least tuning the car for it. the best way to go would be a setup that injects fuel and nitrous they are not that expensive i think i saw a kit on ebay for like 300 bucks

Wet Shot:
Mixed togather with fuel and a fogger injects this mixture directly into the throttle body.

Dry Shot:
Spray into the intake manifold and it is mixed with fuel and air at the injectors

Don't do it. You have a perfectly good running motor. I have done this before and I would take it back if I could, its just dumb unless you have a motor built for nitrous.
