Questions about basic modifications, new to Acura

Hey everyone, just joined the site and posted my car in the member's rides section. I just got my 96' Integra and would like to make some minor mods. I'm not trying to have the fastest car around by any means and it will probably never see the track. It's my daily driver but I'd like to give it a little more performance than the completely stock car it is. My first question is exhaust. I've been told that this should probably be one of the first modifications I should make. Can anyone tell me some reputable brands or point me in the right direction to a site that's trustworthy to order parts from? I've found this exhaust but I don't have any experience in the import game so I would like some opinions. I don't really want that 'ricer' high pitched sound. Please let me know of any input you may have. Thanks!

For an exhaust, look into the apexi ws2. Also look into replacing the header and intake as well. But first and foremost make sure your engine is healthy and all general matience is done.

Is there a benefit from matching certain brands? For example, would there be a certain brand that performs better with the exhaust you mentioned? Sorry if its a dumb question, just don't want to not ask and then wish I had asked in the future!
