Questions about a turbo kit.

So I found a turbo set up on craigslist.

D series t3/t4.
*Cast Iron log manifold
*t3/t4 Turbo .54ar
*External Wastegate
*Wastegate springs 7lb & 13lb
*HKS Sqv Bov
*Full piping + Clamps + Couplers
*Bolt-to-stock downpipe
*FMIC
*RC 440s
*255 Fuel pump
*All oil fittings
*Feed & return Oil lines
*Manual boost controller

So $850 for all of it. Seems like a decent deal right? Well IS it? Lol. I don't have a lot of knowledge in the turbo field, which is why I am asking. I wanted to run anywhere from 7-9lbs of boost, so that works out.

However it's for a D-series, not a B, I assume the manifold will not work, but what else isn't interchangeable?

Just tell me if it's not worth dealing with. This is one of those "impulse buys", in which case.. I want it, but i'm afraid I'll screw myself over, like I so often do. I just don't want to pass up a good deal.

the manifold, down pipe(DP), and intercooler piping(ICP) wont fit, the DP and ICP need to be customized but the manifold is def a no no. Injectors need OBD1 clips and the fuel pump "might" fit not sure, sounds perfect if you have a SOHC though

B18B1 actually. (dohc)

So the manifold, down pipe and intercooler piping will need to be bought.
(Possibly haggle for a lower price without..)

I'll have to ask about the fuel pump.

Edit:
He said he would separate the parts that don't fit my application. I'll have to do a little shopping and see how this works out.


Any thoughts? Still time to tell me no.

And I doubt that intercooler would work either would it?

So minus the things you told me won't fit.

That worth $600 DELIVERED TO MY FRONT DOOR. Seems like it to me, but once again.. new to the turbo's. I want your opinions.

He told me that I could take the intercooler, as he has no use for it. I was thinking simply fitment. But I guess either way, I could make it fit somewhere lol.

I think i'm going to take the deal. Anyone have any objections?

My buddys selling a full Garret t28 kit for a D series for 400.

Only 2 things he doesn't have are the injectors, and fuel pump. 800 is a bit over priced

Who makes the turbo? That will have a lot to do with whether the pricing is right or not. If someone is trying to pass off a cheap, ebay purchased kit then hell no....that's a ripoff.

Hm. Good call on that. In his words:

From a quick Google search, i'm really not drawing up anything conclusive. The brand "Godspeed' is sold on eBay, apparently their kit is around $500 on there. (From what he says.) That's not including injectors, fuel pump or blow off valve.


And $550 (without the manifold, down pipe.) - If I buy it by Sunday.

Also.. from a quick Google search I priced the pump, injectors and blow off valve at around $350. I could be off..

Walbro 255 Fuel Pump..
RC 440 Injectors
HKS sqv blow off valve
