So I found a turbo set up on craigslist.
D series t3/t4.
*Cast Iron log manifold
*t3/t4 Turbo .54ar
*External Wastegate
*Wastegate springs 7lb & 13lb
*HKS Sqv Bov
*Full piping + Clamps + Couplers
*Bolt-to-stock downpipe
*FMIC
*RC 440s
*255 Fuel pump
*All oil fittings
*Feed & return Oil lines
*Manual boost controller
So $850 for all of it. Seems like a decent deal right? Well IS it? Lol. I don't have a lot of knowledge in the turbo field, which is why I am asking. I wanted to run anywhere from 7-9lbs of boost, so that works out.
However it's for a D-series, not a B, I assume the manifold will not work, but what else isn't interchangeable?
Just tell me if it's not worth dealing with. This is one of those "impulse buys", in which case.. I want it, but i'm afraid I'll screw myself over, like I so often do. I just don't want to pass up a good deal.
