question, shifting problem

i jus bought a 98 integra ls and when i try to put it into first i have to double clutch for it to catch. is that normal in integras or is there somthing wrong? thnks in advance.

edit: Maybe it's the synchros. Have someone who really know's their shit take a look at it and get a feel for it. There's not too much ppl can do for you over the internet.

yeah your clutch is slipping. try this to see if your clutch is worn.
put it in 1st. then drive for a bit and then shift straight to 5th. if it goes back to neutral when you do that then your clutch is worn. if it doesnt then try bleeding your clutch.

you are low on tranny fluid. change that before you do anything drastic

i have some what the same problem. doesn't wanna go in 1st gear unless my car is completely stopped, but i guess it jus a safety measure of the syncos, i jus put it in 2nd and give it a slight rev to catch 2nd gear.
