question about type r ecu

i have a motor and a ecu for a 2001 type r and i was wondering if a gsr wireing harness would plug into it.

well since its an 01 ecu its an obd2... so if ur car is an 96 or newer then yes it would plug right in... now im not to sure how obd2a or b works as I am not a obd2 guy and careless for them...
