Question about lifters?

I recently had the lifters adjusted on my wifes car which is a mitsubishi because they were a little noisy and now I can't here them at all. Which is great... So I was wondering if my 96 integra has the same style lifters as my mitsu? because they are slightly loud . I don't know if that's normal for Honda motors are not. Thanks for any feedback

I'm not sure what Mitsu it is but I guess since you were able to actually adjust them then it may be similar. Most newer Mitsu's have hydraulic lash adjusters which need no manual adjustment.

Integras have a mechanical lash adjustment that have tendency to tick if they need adjustment. The process is not too difficult.

Here is a thread that discusses lash adjustment.

Just note that VTEC and non-VTEC B18's have different gap specs. Be sure to use the right one
