Question about JDM front

A friend of mine said that I didnt need to buy the entire core (radiator) support for my car to use for the JDM conversion. He said he only used the T-bar, and it worked fine. is this true? just getting some opinions, but im thinking it HAS to work because his conversion looks very good. and this is cheaper than buying the entire core support, and requires less work

yeah it works i know of a few people that have done it like that......just have it done right.

Do it the right way and use the whole core.

i used the whole support on mine. but theres another guy on here that used just the T and his front end looks good too.

T-support works fine. i got mines for free so i can't complain

I used just the T bar and it worked fine you just have to be good at drilling all the correct welds before trying to pull it apart. and lining it back correctly before welding it back on there
