Quality Turbo

So from what I understand Turbonetics has really stepped up their game in the past couple years, I've heard this from many people lately. So my question is: Would it be "shameful" to get a ebay turbo kit for the turbo (assuming it comes with Turbonetics), intercooler and piping, and oil lines and just buy seperate manifold, B/O valve and wastegate?? Has anyone tried to get a kit like this from eBay?? Is there issues of authenticity, or quality?? ANY input is greatly appreciated. Putting together a turbo build is much more difficult than it seems.

Spend the money and get a good setup.

When I do turbo I'll be going with precision turbo, just the turbo cost as much as an eBay turbo setup. They have a great record and my buddy also has one on his 503 whp s2000 ( now gunning for 600+ HP)
